Certificate in Christian Ministry (English or Chichewa)

The Certificate of Christian Ministry is a one-year introductory programme with a practical-vocational orientation, covering basic aspects of Biblical, Historical, Systematic, and Applied Theology. It is designed to equip future pastors, church leaders, and Christian workers.

Students who have passed the Certificate of Christian Ministry may continue for a further two years to complete the Certificate of Biblical Studies.

Certificate of Biblical Studies (English or Chichewa)

The Certificate of Biblical Studies is a three-year programme with a practical-vocational orientation, covering basic aspects of Biblical, Historical Systematic, and Applied Theology. It is designed to equip future pastors, church leaders, and Christian workers. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant must be a born-again committed Christian who is in good standing with the Church and has a sense of God’s calling.
• For the English course: Malawi School Certificate of Education with at-least 6 passes 1 Credit is required. One pass should be in English.

Mature entry may be considered for CCM (English or Chichewa) if candidates with lower qualifications have proven maturity and ability.

The minimum entry qualification for Chichewa students is a for the Chichewa course is a Junior Certificate of Education.

“By graduation, students should demonstrate basic knowledge and skills relevant to Christian ministry. This course is designed to help those who are already in leadership or ministerial positions who have had little or no formal theological training.”
