Statement of Faith
We believe in:
- The holy scriptures as originally given by God, in both the Old and the New Testament, divinely inspired, infallible, trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- One God, the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of all things, eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Our Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal word, uncreated and co-existent with the father, manifest in his Incarnation, Death, bodily Resurrection, Ascension, and future personal return in power and in glory.
- The salvation of lost and sinful mankind through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
- The Holy Spirit, Lord and giver of life, proceeding from the Father and the Son, by whose’ indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, and is equipped for God’s service.
- The spiritual unity of all those who have believed in Jesus Christ for salvation have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and therefore compose the Church, the Body of Christ of which he is the head.
- The personal existence of satan, the prince and god of this world, the accuser of the children of God and the author of evil, whose ultimate end is eternal punishment.
- The bodily resurrection of the dead; of believers to eternal blessedness and un-believers to judgement and eternal punishment and the final establishment of the Kingdom of God in the new heavens and the new earth.
